Enzo coddling a kid, despite his allergies. He’s cuddly and touchy-feely with many animals, pythons included.
This farm house on top of a hill is also a home on the range where the horses, goats and chickens feed in harmony
But the goats keep to themselves
Nature watching
And this would have the scene that greeted him that morning
And this is the view he may have seen
The same island has many beaches. Here Enzo prepares to drive from a diving plank

He’s a very lucky chap indeed – our worry is that gadgets are taking over the lives of kids and bringing them back to ‘earth’ is such an important part of being a child 😀

Thanks so much. And I like the fact too that he loves animals. Anyone who does is a gentle soul.

Looks like he had some wonderful experiences! We took this sort of day for granted when we were kids – so nice that he’s able to have this as well. (And by the way, he’s a real cutie!)
Eva said:
Thank you. As parents we try our best that experiences these things – as ‘Animal Couriers’ said, that we him back to earth and away from some cosmic world of computer games. Thanks, I think he took his looks after his Papa, ha ha.
Thank you.

It’s great to see happiness in his smile and eyes. What amazing memories you’ll all have with time like this together.

That’s true. Nothing can be more rewarding to a parent than to see smile and laughter in the child’s eyes.
Thanks for dropping by.

Hello Beatrix.
He likes the experience a lot. We even let him bathe in the rain. And thanks to the generosity of my in-laws who let us use the farm house anytime we like to.

Thanks Tin! Even I in all of my 44 years still find so much thrill getting my feet wet in the grass.

Wonderful! I just spent the weekend in a cabin in the woods( with no cell phone or Internet service) and it was magical!

Oh, that’s exactly the point. Communing with nature beats the ‘high’ one gets from gadgets and similar stuff.

Hi Eva,
Thanks for liking my post!
My daughter is only 22 months old and has not discovered the “scary” world of gadgets … yet. I’m hoping she won’t especially since her parents are not gadget freaks at all. She loves animals too btw =)

I think that’s a very good parenting decision. I’m with you on this one. At least not now, yet.

Eva

Gadgets sad to say are here to stay. The important thing is balance. Nothing should replace the hands on experience of exploring the world around us. They make lasting memories. You can’t look back at a gadget and remember, but you can look at a photo and remember the joy and feelings you had at that moment. Good for you for providing these memories for your handsome son.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
