Lord, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.
My grandfather had it and it was Ma’s greatest fear, greater even than death itself. I guess I’ve inherited that fear so you can believe it, I’m praying it misses me:)
If you look at this there is a light hearted side to this, ” Lord grant me the senility to forget those I do not like and the luck to run into those I like and the eyesight to tell the difference) that always makes me smile. xx
