THE LOOK I WOULD HAVE WANTED TO ACHIEVE (IN MY DREAMS)
THE LOOK HUBBY WOULD HAVE WANTED ME TO ACHIEVE (IN HIS DREAMS)
In deference to my husband's work as a lawyer, I try my best to conform to dressing up in a manner that is acceptable to him.
We're still arguing over fashion until now!

Loved, loved, loved your posting…humorous, delightful (intertwined with) love and marital compromise without selling out! Got to love it. A friend’s husband once said to me..When a man and a woman get married, the man thinks the woman will never change and the woman thinks the man will change and the exact opposite always happens!..So true!
Ha ha, Lotta. Your husband’s friend’s words are so true. We’re a work in progress and this marriage between two opinionated people thrives on compromise on a day to day basis I almost like growing old with him,Thanks so much for the kind words and I’m glad you liked the post.
Best,
Eva.
Eva, don’t you think a great marriage is the double edge sword? What we love, we hate….love chocolate cake, hate the calories, love sitting in the sun, hate the wrinkles…mix in hard work (patience, compromise, annoying habits) it bakes up to the perfect spouse/marriage! My philosophy teacher said, “we would not know pleasure without pain!” …best, Lotta
So true! So true!
